I'm preparing for my husband's 30th surprise bash (5 months in the making). The party is being held at a friends lakehouse, with entertainment being our favorite local band playing tunes throughout the evening. I hand made tie-dye invites and asked guests to dress to go back to the 70's.  The decor will be smiley faces, daisey's, disco ball, 70's posters, tattoos, etc. I will be making the birthday cake, a 3-tower of Krispy Kreme donuts, each layer decorated with pictures of my hubby throughout his 3 decades.  There should be approx. 60 friends attending, some my husband hasn't seen in 8-10 years, this will be the biggest surprise of all.
