Old Fashion Tea -25yr- May Pole

Old Fashion Tea Party  My mom and I used this party theme for my 25th birthday. We set up our garden with small tables decorated with different color linen.

We set each table with different plates and waterglasses. As a centerpiece we used fresh cut flowers.

Off to the side we set up a May pole. My mom simply dug a hole and placed a large piece of wood about 7ft high. We used paper streamers for the ribbon, and decorated it with balloons.

 We had been going to yard sales and Goodwill to find old fasion dresses for our guest to dress up in. We also found lovely hats and gloves for the occasion.

Everyone really loved dressing up. As for the food we had tomato and basil, and cucumber finger sandwiches.

We also had cream of broc. soup, small eclares, cupcakes, fruit, cumpets, and a birthday cake.

The party was really beautiful and really was not that expesive. We spent about 150.00 on everything, and our guest had a fantastic time, especially the dressing up and May pole.
