International Party - I invited 10 couples and asked that each couple bring one dish from their nationality or their "best" dish they cook. I set up my dining room table with all my best china, silver, crystal and linens and provided drinks. We had dishes that ranged from Greek, Italian, Cajun, Polish to Chinese. For my table centerpiece I found flags from all the countries that were being represented at our dinner and put them in a vase. I had all different types of international music playing in the background during the party. This party is one of the easiest to do because the hostess (you) only has to cook one dish for the party and you end up getting to try all different sorts of food from different places. It was like traveling to lots of countries in one night.
