Candle Party.  This can be used for any adult party. Set up fairy lights and candles all around the house, in and out. There are some great candle decorating ideas around. e.g.: tea lights in brown paper bags with sand in the bottom to line the pathway to the front door; fairy lights to guide a path to the toilet.   Everyone brings a candle to burn on the night. No electric lights are used. You end up with all sorts of candles on sticks, floating, light boxes etc.   VERY IMPORTANT: don't leave any candles unattended throughout the night.
