SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE PARTY My husband and I had an adult party with the theme of  Saturday Night Live (SNL). I made the invitations on the computer that looked like the ticket from the  show.  All info for the party date, time, etc. was listed on front. I had a copy of the ticket from a SNL book.  I asked each person to come dressed as their favorite SNL character, past or present(cone heads, killer bees, opera man, Mary Katherine Gallagher, gumby...), or as someone that hosted or was a artist performing on one of the shows.  I even listed on the back of the invite some suggestions. If someone came without a costume, I gave them a sign to wear that said "Audience member", only two people didn't dress up.  I showed upstairs the DVD's of different cast members best skits, you can buy, or rent these.  I also had the first 25 years on video to show in the basement.  I borrowed a few SNL books from the local library and left them out for the parties goes to look at. We also set up the SNL triva game. Which turned out to be a great game to play.  As everyone came to the party we took pictures, and then I set them up as a slide show on my computer to run through out the party. Since this was done at halloween time, I acturally cut out the SNL logo on a pumpkin and used it at my front door. I was able to borrow a SNL CD to play music through out the night. I asked    everyone vote for the best costume,MR.BILL won. Since the party was held on Saturday we all gathered around to watch the show. We had a huge turn out with many great costumes. We had a large age range from 21 to 65 years old. Fun was had by all.
